I just spent a frustrating ten minutes or so trying locate a Wordpress plugin that would generate an Archives page on breadmilkdigital.com
A year or two ago, I created an Archives page on Wordpress blog (on tshirtalert.com), however it required a bit of PHP coding that I’d rather avoid unless completely necessary. So I was desperate to find a plugin to avoid getting my hands dirty with PHP code.
And my discovery was nothing but good news. It seems that these days, you don’t even need a plugin to create a Wordpress Archives page. Wordpress has the smarts to create on for you, if you just follow a few simple steps outlined on the Wordpress Codex.
Those Wordpress guys really are trying to make our lives easy aren’t they….once you’ve created your own archive, post a comment with a link to your brand new shiny Wordpress archive page.

May i ask why you need a Archive page. Its not good to have duplicate content on your blog. If your using Platinum SEO plugin, you can no follow and no index it, good for search engine ranking.

I have an archive page purely for web usability reasons. I find that there are still many people out there who do not know how to navigate within a blog, so by putting an archives link in the top navigation bar, it gives these people a more 'traditional' and familiar method of navigating through the articles on your blog.
