Hey there - I totally agree, I don't that the public perception of Twitter is mature enough to rely on people typing in your Twitter URL to find your Twitter page. Actually, having said that - will it ever be mature enough - just look at the number of people who use Google to find company websites!

So yes, the best way to ensure your target audience can find and follow you on Twitter, in my opinion, is to add a "Follow Me on Twitter" link to your site. Anyone out there disagree?

I don't know how big of an issue this is, does anyone know how often people directly try to lookup a business on twitter by typing in a twitter url?If you have a link to your twitter account on your website I think that is the most common way people find and follow you?
